seafoam the tank [maybe the block, too?]

strip and spraypaint the tank matte black [edit: actually, it.s now drab green with a matte black cap]

spraypaint side covers, mirrors, fender, lower forks, instrument panel cover, rims, rear rack, most other stationary hardware [or anything unsightly chrome] matte black

spraypaint exhaust, block, all engine component covers, shaft drive cover matte black

replace handlebars with black powder-coated drag bars [maybe risers, too]

remove grab bar, if practical, otherwise paint matte black

reposition shifter pedal, brake pedal for more forward seated position

replace mirrors

replace rectangular headlight with dual round headlights, spray matte black if necessary

replace all light bulbs in instrument panel

replace valve stem covers with normal ones [discard away the plastic eagle covers]

edit...i think i also want to add fork boots. that should black-out the whole front-end
